Leonard “Len” Gregory, 93, of Mt. Prospect, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at home. Beloved husband of Jetta Gregory nee Jensen for 67 years. Loving father of Dr. Richard (Rebecca) Gregory, Sandra (Steve) Keefe, JoEllyn (the late Timothy) Taylor, and Kathleen (James) Szymanowski. Devoted grandfather of Amanda (Chuck) Serfass, Emily Gregory, Eric (Lauren) Gregory, Alan Keefe, Peter (Kelsey) Keefe, Matthew Keefe, Sarah (Thomas) Hughes, James (Merissa) Taylor, Nicole Szymanowski. Cherished great grandfather of Jolene and Gideon Serfass. Preceded in death by his parents Walter and Addie Gregory and his brother Daniel Gregory.
Len was a veteran of World War II and a Master Mason.
He was born August 12, 1923 in Franklin Park.
Visitation Friday 3:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. (at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect.
Visitation continues Saturday, 8:30 A.M. until funeral services 9:30 A.M. at Community Presbyterian Church, 407 N. Main St. Mt. Prospect.
Interment Mt. Emblem Cemetery.
